Today i can present the first Ju88 skin update! I hope that this homepage in future will be a good place for all people who interested in Ju88, skins and missions! More infos in the Forum.

Nach einer mehr oder weniger langen Zeit ist nun endlich die Ju88 seite wieder online, der Server musste gewechselt werden. mein Dank geht and III/JG53*Harti der ermöglicht hat, dass die Seite auch in Zukuft weiter online sein wird.

After a small break the ju88 Hompage is back again. We had to change the Server. Many thanks to III/JG53*Harti he made it possible to put this Page on internet again.

Nach dem PF die ganze Zeit von Oleg's Team in anspruch genommen hat, gibt es nun wieder Neuigkeiten aus Moskau. Oleg hat mitgeteilt, dass sie momentan wieder an der Implementierung der Ju88 arbeiten, wahrscheinlich wird es aber nur eine Version in IL2 geben die fliegbar wird und zwar handelt es sich dabei um die A-4 standard Version.

After a long break mainly because PF we get some news from oleg, he told that they're working on the Ju88 but in reason of time only the A-4 will be flyable, for the other versions, is no big hope.....

23.06.2004 Murmansk Map announced
  Ianboys hat neben seiner Beschäftigung mit Pazifik fighters noch zeit gefunden an der Murmanskmap weiter zu arbeiten,
Diese Map wird sicherlich nicht nur für Ju88 piloten interessant werden.

Ianboys found time to work beside the Pacific fighter on the Murmansk map, a new theatre for the coming ju88 pilots.
13.06.2004 Hammerd finished all skins
  Hammerd hat heute seine Arbeiten zum Ju88 Projekt abgeschlossen, alle skins für alle sieben versionen sind fertig. Um all seine Skins zu sehen klicke auf das Bild.

Hammerd did finish the work for the Ju88 Project, all skins for all seven versions are now sendet to Maddox Games.

  Jippo and III/JG53*Hammer did translate the site to english, becaus my english is a bit poor, well i write the news ans stuff but there are a lot if faults inthere, anyway i just wonna say thank you to Hammer and Jippo for this job, it would be nice if we get a feedback, email, thread in Forum by english speaker, so that we know if we make the work, not for nothing, at the beginning i just planned to make this page in german.......

  Ein Mann namens brother23 hat sich kurzerhand entschieden die Ju188 zu modellieren, er ist ziemlich schnell, wie es aussieht macht er vielleicht sogar das Cockpit

21.05.2004 Ju88 C-6 and C-6 field mod finished
  Das Cockpit der Jägervariant von der Ju88 wurde fertiggestellt und nach moskau gesendet, olegs team hat es mittlerweile auch schon akzeptiert und ist vielleicht schon am rumbasteln.

The final cockpit in our series has now been completed!
Ju 88 C-6 is a heavy fighter variant of the Ju 88 A-4. It has armament of 3 7.92mm machineguns, 3 20mm MG/FF cannons and 10 SC-50 bombs. Ju 88 C-6 served in all theaters of war where Luftwaffe fought, and it did fight in many roles too.


9.05.2004 Huge JU88 Update!
  Jippo und Dietger waren sehr fleissig vergangene Tage und konnten die Ju88A-4 A-13 A-14 und die A-17 Cockpits fertig machen, die Cockpit sind nun bei Oleg und warten auf die Implementierung ins Spiel. Die cockpitbilder könnt ihr unter dem Menü Projects betrachten.

Jippo and Dietger did make a great job the could finish the Ju88A-4 A-13 A-14 and the A-17 cockpit, they sent the models to oleg. The models are waiting now for the overnext patch or addon. The work they made you can see under the link porject.

Under projects you will find the panorama files for all cockpits of different variants of Ju 88 A which we have been working with. You will find that there are 5 different models:

A-4 Early: Standard early war 88 with divebombing ability and divebrakes.
A-4 Late: late war 88 with divebombing ability without divebrakes and better view.
A-13: Ground attack variant designed for East Front. Armament includes SD butterfly bombs (up to 720pcs carried) and machinegun pods (up to 36 mgs in pods) on top of the normal machineguns and 20mm MG/FF in the nose.
A-14: A-4 late with standardised MG/FF installation in the nose.
A-17: Torpedo bomber without ventral gondola.

We have already moved to the final cockpits we will make. These will be C-6 and C-6 field mod. Field mod will introduce relatively common major modifiction made to Ju 88's on the field: deletion of the gondola in exchange for increased top speed. In the East Front C-6 served mainly as a long range intruder against russian supply routes and trains, but also in it's more familiar nighfighter role.

22.04.2004 Ju88 in Moscow
  Die frühe Version der Ju88 ist fertig und wurde zu Maddox Games gesendet. Es wurde von den Spiele entwicklern akzeptiert und wird dann in die Game engine integriert. Das integrieren und das testen des Flugzeuges wird voraussichtlich noch einige Monate in Anspruch nehmen. Ob die Ju88 mit einem Patch oder einer Addon CD kommt ist noch unklar. Wann und wie die Ju88 kommt hängt nun von Oleg und seinem Team ab.

"Ju 88 A-4 Early" cockpit model was sent to Maddox Games and it has now been approved and will be incorporated in the game engine. This and following testing will probably take couple of months to complete. The way how Ju 88 will be incorporated to the game(patch, cd, ?) has not been discussed yet. Also the time of publishing is not decided, and this is totally in the hands of Oleg and his team.
